It’s time to choo-choo at the zoo!

When you ride the choo-choo-choo at the zoo, zoo, zoo
You might see an elephant or kangaroo,
You might see a lion and a tiger too,

You might see a crocodile or buffalo,
You might see a monkey and a big hippo,

3. If a Hippopotamus Shows up at Your Door

If a Hippopotamus shows up at your door
And says: “I’m thirsty”, watch out,
Because if you give the hippopotamus a glass of water,
He’ll say: “I’m hungry”, and you’ll have to feed him.
And if you feed him, he’ll say: “I’m dirty”,
And you’ll have to give him a bath.
And if you give him a bath, he’ll say: “I’m sleepy”,
And you’ll have to carry him to bed.
And if you carry him to bed, he’ll say: “Read me a bedtime story”,
And you’ll have to read him a bedtime story.
And if you read him a bedtime story, he’ll say: “Tuck me in”.
Then you’ll have to tuck him in.
And if you tuck him in, he’ll say:  “I’m thirsty”,
And if he says that, watch out.

Three brown teddies sitting on the wall,

There’d be two brown teddies sitting on the wall.

6. Brahms Lullaby (Go to Sleep)

“Go to sleep, go to sleep”, woofs mother bear,
And two brown cubs roll into fuzzy balls for a long winter’s nap.
“Go to sleep”, says mother otter,
And a furry pup snuggles against her sleek stomach, as they bob in the  wavy ocean.
“Go to sleep”, calls father bluejay,
And four baby jays nestle under his downy belly.
“Go to sleep”, says mother hippopotamus,
And chubby calf floats by her side and blows bubbles as he snores.
“Go to sleep”, says mother coala,
And her pudgy cub climbs into her pouch and curls against her soft fur.
“Go to sleep”, barks father fox,
And six pups wiggle and squirm as he munches them into the den.
“Go to sleep”, says father ostrich,
And fifteen chicks huddle under his feathers and cluck themselves to sleep.
“Go to sleep”, say mother and father,
And pulling the covers up to your chin they kiss you goodnight.
